Each tonne of carbon produced or reduced by your investments has a price attached to it – or will soon.

If companies, technologies, properties, or other investments in your portfolio reduce greenhouse gasses (GHGs), it may be possible to securitize these reductions as carbon offsets (also called “carbon credits” or “carbon assets”). Offset revenue can reduce the upfront purchase price of certain clean technologies by 40%. This has strong implications for improving the returns and competitiveness of your investments.
